Advances in Pulmonary Medicine Symposium 2026
The Mount Sinai Respiratory Institute in New York City is hosting an intensive two-day course on Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13, 2026, focused on advanced topics in pulmonary medicine. Delivered through a combination of didactic lectures and case-based discussions, the course is tailored for pulmonologists, advanced practice providers, and primary care physicians.
The course syllabus covers a wide range of subjects, including current diagnostic and treatment strategies for interstitial lung disease, COPD, asthma, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, thromboembolic disease, and more.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Understand how precision-based approaches and biomarker assessments are shaping the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, COPD, and lung cancer.
- Enhance management strategies for complex pulmonary cases such as challenging asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease, using interactive presentations and multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Gain insights into the latest advances in early detection, diagnostic roles of pulmonologists, and biomarker development in lung cancer.
- Learn about the emerging role of biologics in COPD, as well as updated treatments for thromboembolic diseases and benign airway obstruction.
- Stay current on progress in sleep medicine, interstitial lung disease, and the interconnections between various pulmonary conditions, like emphysema and cancer.
